System Test Engineer & Integrator
United Launch Alliance · Denver, CO
September 2023 – Present
- Plan and execute $5M–$10M launch vehicle development and verification test campaigns across structural, propulsion, avionics, and cryogenic systems, partnering with design and systems engineering to validate requirements and support vehicle certification.
- Served as Product Owner for a NASA secondary payload demonstration, leading design, production, qualification, and integration of the experiment on the second Vulcan Centaur flight. Delivered the payload and fulfilled a NASA contract objective generating $4.5M in revenue.
- Test Lead for hazardous cryogenic and propulsion campaigns directing teams of up to 15 engineers, technicians, and analysts at NASA Glenn and NASA Marshall — developing checkout procedures, leading readiness reviews, and enforcing test safety requirements.
- Analyze structural, propulsion, avionics, and cryogenic test data to identify trends, resolve anomalies, and support root cause investigations, building the visualizations and technical summaries that inform design reviews and leadership briefings.
- Performed trade studies and vendor down-selection for ground test infrastructure, developing sensitivity analyses and K-T decision matrices to evaluate $1.7M–$5M proposals against cost, schedule, and technical risk.
